Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 cup(s) Flour (Type 550) approx. 130 g each
  • 2 cup(s) water, warm
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp yeast (dry yeast)
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Dissolve the yeast with a pinch of sugar in warm water. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Mix for about 10 minutes. Let the dough rise until it has doubled in size (takes about 45 minutes). Press the dough together with the palm of your hand and knead it, then let it rise for another 15 minutes. Knead it again, shape it into rolls, and place them on a baking sheet. Cover and let it rise for another 15 minutes, until the rolls have risen. Preheat oven to 210°C and place a large heat-resistant container filled with water inside. Place the rolls in the oven and reduce the temperature to 175°C. Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.
