Hearty Curry Minced Lamb
The perfect hearty curry minced lamb recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Red onions
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 4 cm Fresh ginger
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 2 tsp Ground cumin
- 4 tbsp Yogurt 10% fat
- 900 g Lamb minced meat
- 0,5 tsp Ground turmeric spice
- 1 Orange untreated
- 2 Chili peppers
- 0,5 bunch Fresh coriander
- Peel the onions, garlic and ginger. Cut the onions into rings, finely chop the garlic and ginger. Finely grate the orange peel (1 teaspoon) and squeeze the orange. Cut the chili peppers into thin rings.
- Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onions, ginger and garlic, add the minced lamb and fry vigorously for about 5 minutes. Gradually add the yoghurt and stir until smooth. Stir in orange juice and 1/2 teaspoon orange peel. Season with turmeric, cumin and salt. Simmer the minced lamb with the lid closed and at a low temperature for about 35 minutes. After 10 minutes, add the chili rings.
- Wash the coriander, shake dry and chop. Mix half of the coriander into the minced meat. Serve the minced lamb on plates, sprinkled with corinad and orange peel. We had noodles with it.
