Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g cream cheese
- 4 large tomatoes
- 1 shallot(s)
- 1 small garlic clove(s)
- 500 g pasta
- Salt
- pepper
- basil
- oil
- e.g. cayenne pepper
- 50 ml cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cook the pasta. Quarter the tomatoes, finely dice the shallot, and even finer dice the garlic. Sauté everything together in a pan with oil (olive oil is fine, but not required). Add the cream cheese and melt. Season with salt and pepper. Then add the basil and, if desired, cayenne pepper. Remove the pan from the heat and add the cream. Serve the pasta in portions on plates, pour the sauce over it, and garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
