Herbal Muffins with Cream Cheese Filling

The perfect herbal muffins with cream cheese filling recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Eggs
  • 120 ml Oil
  • 200 g Natural yoghurt
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 40 g Frozen herbs, to taste
  • 200 g Flour
  • 200 g Whole wheat flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 12 tsp Cream cheese
  • Fat for the shape
  1. Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C.
  1. Mix the eggs, oil, yoghurt, salt and herbs well. Mix both types of flour with baking powder, add to the egg mixture and knead into a smooth dough. Shape half of the dough into 12 small balls and press into the indentations of the mold. Make a small depression in the middle and add a teaspoon of (herb) cream cheese. Shape the rest of the dough into 12 balls, press them flat and cover the cream cheese with them.
  1. Then bake for about 30 minutes.
