Ingredients

  • 5 Waxy potatoes
  • pinch Salt
  • pinch Sweet paprika
  • 250 ml Rapeseed oil (for frying)

Instructions

  • Cut the potatoes into sticks and then soak them in a bowl of water for 15 minutes so that the potatoes release a little starch.
  • Then let the pens drip off on kitchen paper.
  • Now it is deep-fried, heat the rapeseed oil in a saucepan to 140 ° and then let the fries deep-fry in it for 4 minutes.
  • After the first deep-frying course is complete, the fries are put back on a paper towel so that the excess fat can run off.
  • In the second deep-frying course, the oil is heated to 180 ° C and the fries are baked in it for 3-6 minutes, depending on the desired tan.
  • Then dab off the excess fat again on kitchen paper, place the fries in a bowl and season with salt and paprika.
