Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g onion(s)
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 500 g carrot(s), can be more
  • 500 g leek
  • 500 g celery
  • 500 g parsley
  • 500 g salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours

Ingenious replacement for all seasonings containing preservatives and flavor enhancers

The vegetables remain raw and uncooked. The tomatoes are used with the skin on. Wash, trim, and chop all ingredients. Gradually process the vegetables through the meat grinder. Alternate between the vegetables, as otherwise some of the vegetables, such as leeks, will stick. Mix everything well with salt and stir until the salt dissolves. Pour into jars. Makes about 15 baby food jars. Use as a seasoning in sauces, soups, salads, roasts, meat dishes, etc. Tip: You’ll need to buy more celery, leeks, and carrots, as these vegetables produce a lot of waste during cleaning.
