Honey Biscuits

  • 125 g Honey
  • 60 g Butter
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 1 piece Egg yolk
  • 1 Knife point Ground cinnamon
  • 1 Knife point Ground cloves
  • 250 g Flour
  • 2 Teaspoon (level) Baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa
  1. Heat the honey, butter and sugar in a saucepan, melt them and put them in a mixing bowl. Then let it cool down.
  2. Gradually add the egg yolks and spices to the honey mixture. Mix the flour with the cocoa and stir with the honey mixture until a homogeneous, somewhat firmer dough is formed. If necessary, knead by hand.
  3. Roll out the dough about 0.5 cm thick and cut out cookies. Bake at 175-200 ° for about 15 minutes.
