Iced tea is a soft drink. According to a traditional recipe, this is a tea infusion made from black tea with lemon juice and sugar. Other variations are prepared with green, fruit or herbal tea or combinations of these teas. Origin

Recipes for chilled tea drinks have been found in British and American cookbooks since the early 19th century. Iced tea was popularized by Englishman Richard Blechynden in 1904.
