Iceberg lettuce with turkey Caesar salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 8 slices of whole-grain toast
  • 8 tsp rapeseed oil or sunflower oil
  • 500 g turkey strips
  • 120 g Parmesan
  • Seasoning mix for poultry
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 50 g hamburger sauce
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the bread slices into small pieces. Cut the turkey meat as well. Fry both in separate pans using half the oil each until crispy and lightly browned. Season the turkey meat. Tear the washed lettuce into small pieces and place in a large bowl. Add the bread and turkey meat and toss well. Grate the Parmesan cheese. Pour the sour cream into a bowl, add the hamburger sauce, mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, and salt. Crush the garlic clove, add it, and mix everything thoroughly. Add the Parmesan cheese and the sauce to the salad before eating, mix thoroughly, and serve.
