Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 head of iceberg lettuce
- ½ cucumber(s)
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- ½ can peas
- 1 pack of turkey meat, cut into strips, or chicken strips (approx. 300 grams)
- 4 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp fruit vinegar
- 1 tbsp wine vinegar
- ½ cup(s) soy sauce
- 1 tsp oregano
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Chop all ingredients into small pieces. Brown the turkey strips in the soy sauce and add to the salad. Make a salad dressing with oil, vinegar, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper (to taste); I usually add garlic salt as well. Let the salad sit for about an hour. The salad tastes best with herb baguette or fresh bread.
