Indian Style Potato Wedges with Chilli Dip

The perfect indian style potato wedges with chilli dip recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1,5 kg Potatoes
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil
  • 12 tsp Curry
  • 6 tsp Caraway powder
  • 3 tbsp Steak and grill seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 Glass Water
  • Sugar
  • 2 Toes Garlic
  • 0,5 pressed Lemon fresh
  • Some tomato paste
  • Salt, chilli powder and chilli flakes
  1. Boil the water and add the sugar with the chopped garlic cloves.
  2. After about 3 minutes, add the lemon juice and add enough tomato paste for the dip to have the right consistency. Season to taste with chilli powder, salt and chilli flakes, allow to cool.
  3. Cut the potatoes into wedges and marinate. (Please refer to the ingredients for the marinade above.) Simply mix olive oil, curry, caraway powder, steak and grill seasoning and the salt to make the marinade and stir the potatoes until the marinade is homogeneously distributed let it steep for about 15 minutes.
  4. Bake the wedges for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees until golden brown, serve with the dip. (Tip: If the dip is too hot for you, you can also serve tzatziki with it.) Bon appetit!
