Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

simple Italian pasta salad with salami, cheese and herb sauce

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, drain, and refresh in cold water. Heat the oil in a pan. Peel and finely chop the onion, and sauté in the oil until translucent. Deseed and finely dice the bell peppers, then add to the onions. Then dice the salami and fry it in the same way. Meanwhile, transfer the pasta to a bowl. After about 2-3 minutes, remove the salami mixture from the heat and mix with the pasta. While the mixture is cooling, dice the cheese. Mix the crème fraîche with the herbs and balsamic vinegar until smooth, and season with salt and pepper. Mix with the cheese and pasta. The salad tastes great fresh, but can also be eaten the next day.
