Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g Jerusalem artichoke
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • n. B. herbal salt
  • some nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • some flour
  • some oil
  • some flour
  • some butter
  • 1 cup of cream
  • n. B. Cheese of your choice
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Rinse the Jerusalem artichokes thoroughly under running water, pat dry, and coarsely grate the skin. Mix with the egg, flour, spices, and herbs. Form the mixture into small fritters and fry them in batches in a little hot oil until crispy on both sides. If the fritters are to be served as a main course, they go well with a cheese sauce, for example. Sauté a little flour in butter and deglaze with 1 cup of cream. Then melt your choice of cheese (amount according to taste) and season to taste with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Alternatively, the fritters can also be served as a side dish with fish; in this case, the quantity is sufficient for 4 servings.
