makes about 35 pieces

Mix all ingredients except the redcurrant jelly and chocolate coating into a dough. Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick. Use a shot glass to cut out round cookies. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes. Immediately after the cookies come out of the oven, spread them with the redcurrant jelly and place a second cookie without jelly on top. Spread the edges with the chocolate glaze. If you like, you can then sprinkle roasted almonds into the fresh glaze and stick a walnut half to the top with a little glaze. You can also dust the cookies with powdered sugar.
