Kohlrabi and Potato Mash À La Heiko

The perfect kohlrabi and potato mash à la heiko recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Kohlrabi fresh
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • Salt
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 2 piece Butter
  1. Peel, wash and quarter the potatoes. Peel the kohlrabi and cut into large cubes. Boil the potatoes and kohlrabi together in salted water for approx. 20 minutes. Pouring off. Add the butter and milk to the potatoes and heat briefly. Remove from the stove and mash the potatoes with a potato masher. Season with nutmeg and season again. We had savoy cabbage with it. Good Appetite.
