Lazy spinach noodles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g fusilli (pea fusilli, gluten-free)
  • 300 g leaf spinach, fresh (alternatively frozen)
  • 100 g herb cream cheese
  • some chili powder or chili flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 shot of milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with pea noodles

Simmer the pea noodles and spinach leaves in a pot of salted water for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic (unless you have a press). Drain the water and add all the remaining ingredients to the pot. Add the herb cream cheese, milk, and any remaining water from the spinach to make a delicious sauce. It also tastes great with chicken, mushrooms, or scampi.
