Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500g spaghetti
- 1 piece(s) ginger, fresh, about thumb-sized
- 2 small chili peppers
- 400 g prawns, peeled
- 1 lemon(s), untreated, zest
- ½ lemon(s), juice
- salt and pepper
- ¼ liter cream or cream substitute
- oil
- curry powder
- Coriander leaves
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Peel and finely chop the ginger, deseed and chop the chili peppers. Use more or less chili if desired. Roast the ginger in oil, add the chili, and roast briefly. Season with salt and add the prawns. Stir in the curry powder to give the prawns a nice color. Bring the lemon juice and lemon zest to a boil in the cream, then season with salt and pepper. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Add the cooked spaghetti to the cream and lemon sauce, mix well, and heat briefly again. Arrange the spaghetti on plates and top with the prawns. Garnish with coriander.
