Lemons and Oranges Folk Sugar

- 600 ml Water
- 600 g Sugar
- 2 Oranges
- 2 Lemons
- 2 Lemons and 2 oranges peel off the peel separately.
- Now squeeze the lemons. Do the same with the oranges.
- Bring the water to a boil and immediately stir in the sugar.
- Divide the leuter sugar into 2 parts and stir the grated bowls into the leuter sugar. Add some of the juice and bring to the boil again.
- When hot, pour into one glass at a time, seal it airtight and turn it upside down until it has cooled down.
- Let this sugar syrup steep for at least a month. The older the better and the aroma just keeps getting better.
- The prepared sugar can be flavored for desserts and fine cakes.
