Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g lentils, red
  • 1 mango(s)
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green or red
  • 5 tbsp salsa (Texicana salsa)
  • 1 small chili pepper(s)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

simple, fast

Prepare the red lentils according to the package instructions and let cool. Chop the spring onions, bell pepper, chili pepper, and mango and add them to the lentils. Add the Texicana salsa and oil and mix everything together (if it’s not spicy enough for you, feel free to add more Texicana salsa). Season to taste with salt and pepper. We like to serve this salad with grilled food.
