Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 pack of puff pastry, from the refrigerated counter
- 1 jar apple compote, with pieces, sugared
- 1 pack of Sultanas
- 1 pack of cinnamon
- e.g. powdered sugar

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 18 minutes; Total time approx. 23 minutes
from the sandwich maker
Preheat the sandwich maker. Spread out the puff pastry and use a knife to cut it in half horizontally and vertically to create four equal-sized rectangles. Empty the jar of apple compote into a bowl and mix with sultanas and cinnamon to taste. Place a rectangle of puff pastry on the bottom of the sandwich maker, add about a tablespoon of the mixture to each triangle, and cover with another piece of puff pastry. Lightly press the corners down with your finger to prevent the mixture from running out. Bake the apple turnovers for 9 minutes, leaving the sandwich maker open during baking. Carefully remove the finished apple turnovers from the sandwich maker, cut into triangles, and dust with icing sugar.
