Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g beans, green
  • 200 g potatoes
  • 100 g pasta (e.g. farfalle)
  • 5 tbsp pesto (basil pesto)
  • Parmesan, freshly grated
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Trim and halve the beans. Peel the potatoes and slice thinly. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Cook the beans in boiling salted water for 8 minutes, add the potatoes and cook for another 3 minutes, then drain. Drain the pasta. Reserving 100 ml of the cooking water, mix it with 3 tablespoons of basil pesto. Mix the basil water with the potatoes, beans, and pasta and heat briefly again, if necessary. Season again with salt and pepper. Arrange on plates and serve, with 2 tablespoons of pesto to serve.
