Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g lean ground beef
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 50 g tomato ketchup, light or normal
- 100 g cheese, grated, light or regular (e.g. Gouda)
- 25 g mustard, medium hot
- 2 eggs, size M
- 100 g sour cream
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Preheat the oven to 175°C (fan/convection oven). Dice the onion and fry in a little oil with the ground beef in a pan until the meat is cooked through. In the meantime, combine the sour cream, ketchup, mustard, eggs, salt, and pepper. Then combine the mixture with the minced beef and onion mixture and pour into a small, deep casserole dish. Sprinkle everything with cheese and bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 30 minutes. The casserole is ready when the cheese is a nice golden brown. A mixed salad goes very well with it. Notes: This casserole really tastes almost like a cheeseburger from a well-known burger chain, only with far fewer calories. I always use very lean ground beef (3% fat), but the other ingredients ensure that the casserole is not dry, but very moist.
