Low-carb spinach roll with cream cheese and cooked ham

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 60 g Gouda, grated
  • 180 g creamed spinach
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Place the thawed creamed spinach in a bowl with the eggs and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix everything together until the mixture is slightly foamy. Then transfer the mixture to a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread it out as evenly as possible to form a rectangle. Spread the Gouda cheese on top and place in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes. When the cheese turns golden brown, the mixture is ready. It must now cool completely. Then spread the cream cheese evenly over the mixture, sprinkle with the ham and roll up the dough. Notes: You can either eat it immediately or wrap it in aluminum foil in the refrigerator to firm up a bit. Finally, cut it into slices. The entire roll has about 25g of carbohydrates. You can also choose salmon, chicken breast, Black Forest ham, and others.
