Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • herbal salt
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp cream cheese
  • 3 slice(s) smoked salmon, or other fish, also raw
  • 3 sheets of nori
  • Vegetables, e.g. avocado, cucumber, carrots
  • Soy sauce
  • Wasabi paste
  • ginger root, pickled

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

with omelette instead of rice

Mix the egg whites, egg, pepper, and salt. Fry on both sides to make an omelet, then cut in half. Cut the vegetables and salmon into thin strips. Spread the nori sheets on a mat or baking paper and cover with half of the omelet. The sheets may need to be trimmed. Spread the omelet with the cream cheese and top with the vegetables and fish. Brush the ends of the sheets with water. Roll the nori sheets tightly from one side to the other. Then cut the roll into 2-centimeter pieces and serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and the pickled ginger.
