Spread the love

Chocolate mousse is a very popular dessert and very easy to make yourself. We explain step by step how to prepare a delicious mousse au chocolate.

Recipe for a chocolate mousse

The ingredients for a large bowl of mousse: 30 g milk, 1 liter cream, 500 g chocolate block, and decoration as desired.

  1. Cut the chocolate into pieces and slowly melt them in a water bath.
  2. Then add the milk. Mix both to a creamy mass and let it cool down a bit.
  3. Then whip the cream until stiff. This works best in at least two separate runs of 500 ml each.
  4. Slowly pour the cooled chocolate mixture into the cream. Use a whisk to fold in. Be careful when doing this so that the cream does not collapse.
  5. Set the chocolate mousse in a cool place for at least 3 hours.
  6. To serve, cut out two gnocchi per portion, put them on a dessert plate, and decorate with white chocolate shavings, coconut flakes, or fresh fruit as you like.
