In order for the cream to set, you need to consider the following tips and tricks:

  • First of all, it is important that the cream is cold. So put them in the fridge a few hours beforehand.
  • To make whipping easier, you can also add vegan cream stabilizer to the cream. Since the vegan products are not so easy to whip up, you can use a little more whipped cream here.
  • It is best to use a food processor or hand mixer. Whipping takes a long time with a whisk.
  • To do this, set the device to the highest level and whip the cream for at least three minutes.

Making coconut whipped cream: Here’s how

For the homemade coconut whipped cream you need a can of coconut milk, a pinch of salt, some honey and vanilla extract. If you want the cream to remain vegan, you have to omit the honey. Otherwise the cream will be vegetarian. Alternatively, use agave syrup.

  1. Place the coconut milk in the refrigerator about 24 hours before preparation.
  2. After 24 hours, open the can of coconut milk and pour the contents into a bowl.
  3. Then, using a food processor or hand mixer, beat the coconut milk on the highest setting for at least three minutes.
  4. Then add the other ingredients and mix well.
  5. After that, your whipped cream is ready for further processing.
