Marinated Pork Belly Roast

The perfect marinated pork belly roast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

The meat

  • 600 g Pork belly with rind
  • 50 ml Bbq Spicy Sauce
  • 50 ml Rapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp Mango curry
  • 1 Pc. Fresh onion
  • 10 Pc. Fresh mushrooms
  • Coarse salt
  • Pepper from the grinder

salad

  • Lamb’S lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Sesame oil
  • Rapeseed oil
  • Coarse salt
  • Pepper from the grinder

The meat

  1. Wash the meat, pat dry and set aside. The marinade consists of the BBQ sauce, the mango curry (I bought it in Sweden) and mix the rapeseed oil. Sear the meat vigorously on all sides in a pan, then season with salt and pepper. Now the marinade comes on top. Put the mushrooms and the onion, which I cut into eighths, in the pan and cook in the oven at 150 ° C to finish. The whole thing then took an hour. I let it rest for about 10 minutes.

The salad

  1. In the meantime I finished the salad. Leaves washed and dried, the tomatoes quartered, salted and peppered, a little rapeseed oil and a dash of sesame oil added.

  1. Everything is quite simple, but with the light curry and mango taste it tasted really good. I think that would also be something for the grill. But then cut the meat into thin slices and put it in the marinade beforehand. Ciao …. and have fun copying.
