Marzipan Semolina with Plums

The perfect marzipan semolina with plums recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Raw marzipan paste
  • 750 ml Milk
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 glass Plums
  • 75 g Durum wheat semolina
  • Cinnamon and sugar as you like
  1. Roughly grate the marzipan. Heat the milk and vanilla sugar. Add the marzipan and dissolve in the hot milk while stirring. Bring to the boil from the stove. Scatter semolina in while stirring, bring to the boil and allow to swell for approx. 5 minutes. Separate the egg in the meantime. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff, sprinkle with sugar. Whisk the egg yolk, stir in 2 tablespoons of semolina porridge. Serve semolina with plums, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
