Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 65 g minced beef
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ½ small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground black
  • 500 ml meat broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Combine the minced meat with the egg yolk, the peeled, very finely chopped half an onion, the breadcrumbs, the washed, chopped parsley, the melted butter, and a little salt and pepper to form a dough that’s easy to work with. Season generously to taste. With moistened hands, form small dumplings and drop them into the simmering broth. They’ll be cooked through in about ten minutes.
