Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 tuna steaks, fresh or frozen
- 1 small onion(s)
- 1 small zucchini
- 2 m.-large tomato(s)
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt and pepper
- Italian herbs (dried)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Season the tuna steaks with pepper and salt and sear in a little oil for about 3 minutes on each side. Reduce the heat and add the diced onion and the chopped or crushed garlic cloves. Once the onions are lightly browned, add the diced zucchini and tomatoes. Season with Italian herbs. Simmer on low heat with the lid closed for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with fried potatoes or baguette.
