Minced meat and spinach pasta sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g leaf spinach, frozen
  • 250 g minced beef or pork or half and half
  • ½ liter vegetable broth
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely. Dissolve the vegetable stock cubes in 500 ml of warm water. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and form into small balls. Heat a pan with a little olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic with a little salt and pepper. Then deglaze with a splash of water and add the frozen spinach leaves and bring to a boil. Then deglaze with the dissolved vegetable stock and bring back to a boil. Season with pepper, salt, and chili. Now add the meatballs and let them simmer for a good ten minutes. Serve with fusilli or spaghetti.
