Mini tartlets with smoked trout, spinach, horseradish cream cheese and mozzarella

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g spelt flour type 1050
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 ml water
  • 12 tbsp cream cheese with horseradish
  • 2 large trout fillets, smoked
  • 12 tbsp spinach
  • 2 m.-large tomato(s)
  • 1 ball of mozzarella, or grated mozzarella
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Knead the flour, butter, egg, salt, and water into a smooth dough. Let it rest for a while, then roll it out. Cut out the dough using appropriate round cutters and place it into the greased tartlet pans. Spread the cream cheese on top and top with the trout fillet, spinach, and tomato. Sprinkle some mozzarella on top. You can also sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika, or herbs for seasoning. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 13-18 minutes.
