Mountain cheese schnitzel with radish tzatziki

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ bunch radishes
  • 1 small cucumber(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 200 g Greek yogurt
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 200 g mountain cheese
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 40 g flour
  • 60 g breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp rapeseed oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

Wash and trim the radishes. Peel the cucumber, if desired. Grate both, season with salt, and let stand. Squeeze the juices out on kitchen paper. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Mix with the yogurt, radishes, and cucumber. Season the tzatziki with salt and pepper. Divide the cheese into two portions. Beat the eggs with salt and pepper. Coat the cheese first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Fry the cheese schnitzels in hot oil for about 6 minutes on each side. Drain any excess fat on kitchen paper, if desired. Serve with flatbread.
