Ingredients
 

Breading:

  • 2 Pc. Garlic cloves chopped
  • 60 g Parmesan
  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 2 tbsp Parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 200 g Mozzarella sticks
  • 120 g Flour
  • 3 Pc. Eggs
  • 120 g Breadcrumbs

Also:

  • Oil
  • Parmesan
  • Parsley

Instructions
 

  • Peel the potatoes and simmer in plenty of water for 30 minutes until they are soft. Put in a bowl and mash with a potato masher.
  • Add the chopped garlic cloves, Parmesan, a beaten egg and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper and knead everything into a soft mass.
  • Cut the mozzarella sticks in half. Gradually coat the mozzarella pieces with the potato batter. Place them side by side in a bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  • To bread each potato and mozzarella stick, first turn them in the flour, then in the beaten eggs and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  • Heat enough oil in a large saucepan. Fry the mozzarella sticks one after the other until they are golden brown. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan and parsley.
