Mozzarella-Tomato-Gnocchi

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • Butter, for greasing
  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 2 sprig cherry tomatoes
  • 200 g double cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 g mozzarella, grated or chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Preheat the oven to 220°C and grease a baking dish with butter. Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water for 3 minutes or according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, wash and halve the tomatoes. Drain the gnocchi, let them drain, and add them to the prepared dish with the tomatoes. Season the double cream with salt and pepper, whip it lightly, and spread it on top. Sprinkle everything with the mozzarella and bake for a few minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately.
