Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g mushrooms
- 3 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 garlic cloves
- ½ tsp thyme, dried
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 200 ml cream
- 150 g cheese, grated
- 500 g croquettes
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Oven-fry the croquettes according to the package instructions. In the meantime, finely chop the mushrooms, peel and dice the onion and garlic cloves. Heat a pan with a little sunflower oil and sauté the onions. Add the mushrooms and garlic and sauté. Add the thyme and deglaze with white wine. Reduce the heat and stir in the cream. Set the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat). Once the mushroom sauce has reduced slightly, arrange the croquettes on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese and return to the oven for 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
