Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms, according to season
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 bunch of parsley or basil
  • salt and pepper
  • some olive oil or sour cream, depending on the desired consistency

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Clean the mushrooms, halve if desired, and sauté in a pan with clarified butter. Peel and finely dice the onions, then add them to the mushrooms. Add the marjoram and the peeled, finely diced garlic and fry. Wash and finely chop the parsley or basil, then stir in. Season with salt and pepper and remove from the heat. Stir in enough olive oil or sour cream to create a creamy, spreadable mixture when blended. Tip: This can also be used as a spaghetti sauce or as a puff pastry filling (mixed with 1-2 raw eggs), or on crostini and as a spread.
