Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 kg mussels
- 2 cans of tomatoes, peeled
- ½ celery
- 500 g carrot(s)
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ liter white wine
- 1 onion(s)
- anchovy paste
- Tabasco
- salt and pepper
- Oil (olive oil)
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Finely chop the onion, celery, carrots, and garlic and sauté in olive oil for 20 minutes. Add the tomatoes and white wine and bring to a boil. Season with salt, pepper, anchovy paste, and Tabasco. Add the mussels and cook for 10-15 minutes. Accompaniment: baguette, ciabatta, or flatbread, depending on your taste.
