Mustard Eggs

The perfect mustard eggs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 350 g Potatoes
  • Water
  • 60 g Flour
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 30 g Butter
  • 2 Pc. Onions
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 200 ml Broth
  • 200 g Mustard
  • 8 Pc. Eggs
  • Chopped parsley
  1. Peel and cook the potatoes.
  2. Mix the flour with the milk in a bowl.
  3. Dice the onions and lightly brown them in a pan with the butter.
  4. Add the milk-flour mixture, add salt, pepper and sugar. Let it set over medium heat until the mixture is creamy.
  5. Stir in the stock and mustard.
  6. Boil the eggs hard, peel them and add them to the sauce.
  7. When the eggs are a little pulled through, place a few potatoes with two eggs each on plates and garnish with pertersil.
