Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g sugar
- 250 g butter or margarine
- 1 pinch of salt
- 500 g flour
- 1 pack of lemon peel
- 2 egg yolks
- n. B. Almond(s), halved, peeled
- 1 egg yolk
- some coffee, black
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes
Knead all ingredients (except the almonds) into a shortcrust pastry and chill for about 2 hours. Form the dough into fingers and press an almond onto the tip of each finger to form a nail. Mix an egg yolk with a little coffee and brush the fingers with it. Press the creases into the fingers with a knife. Bake at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
