Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 package of baking mix for pizza dough
  • 1 ½ kg vegetable onions
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp caraway seeds
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 150 g crème fraîche (crème légère)
  • 150 g fat-free ham, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • marjoram
  • olive oil
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Prepare the baking mix according to the package instructions and roll it out on a greased baking sheet. Form a rim. Prick the dough several times with a fork. Thinly slice the onions and sauté them in olive oil until translucent. Combine the eggs with the caraway seeds, marjoram, quark, and crème légère, then stir in the onions. Season generously with salt and pepper. Spread the onion mixture over the dough and sprinkle with the ham. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 30-35 minutes. Serve with Federweißer (a type of cheese).
