Onion quiche with mushrooms and honey

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 275 g puff pastry, from the refrigerated section
  • 150 g mushrooms, mixed, cleaned and chopped
  • 3 onions, red, cut into half rings
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp butter for the mold
  • 75 g sour cream
  • 75 g cream
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • Nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 60 g blue cheese, diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

for a 20cm quiche dish

Preheat the oven to 175°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan oven). Heat the oil in a pan and fry the mushrooms for about 5 minutes. Add the onions and fry for about 2-3 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, drizzle with honey, and mix to combine. Butter a 20cm quiche dish. Place the puff pastry in the dish, press down, and pull up an edge. Spread the mushroom mixture over the dough. Mix together the sour cream, cream, eggs, and seasonings and spread over the quiche. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven on the middle rack for about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve lukewarm. For 4 pieces, this contains approximately 556 kcal per serving.
