Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g vegetable onions
  • 6 cl port wine, red, vegan
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 liter vegetable broth, strong
  • pepper
  • n. B. Oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Quarter and slice the onions. Sauté slowly in the oil over low heat until soft and translucent. Add the port wine and then the broth. Add the bay leaves. Simmer gently for at least 30 minutes. Remove the bay leaves and season the soup with pepper. Serve with bread or baguette.
