Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), chopped
  • 1 m.-large zucchini, cut into small pieces
  • 1 carrot(s), diced
  • 500 g organic minced beef
  • 150 g peas, frozen
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green, ripe, sliced
  • 1 tomato(s), ripe, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices of cheese of your choice
  • 500 g Greek yogurt, 10% fat
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • some lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • salt and pepper

Place the onions, zucchini, and carrots in a bowl. Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, and peas and mix well. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and press down lightly. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 45 minutes. After about 20 minutes, top with the sliced ​​green pepper, tomato slices, a few more chopped onion pieces, and the cheese. Bake until done. For the tzatziki, place the Greek yogurt in a bowl. Grate the cucumber and onion, finely chop the garlic cloves, and add everything to the yogurt. Season with salt and pepper and add a few more squeezes of lemon juice. Mix everything well and let it sit for a while. Arrange on plates and serve.
