Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 tbsp soy sauce, light
- 0.33 tbsp soy sauce, dark
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp, levelled sugar
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 chili peppers (Thai chilies), red
- 300 g minced meat, mixed
- 200 g green beans, finely chopped
- 3 eggs, fried
- Oil for frying
- 3 servings of cooked rice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
the American version of the Thai classic, without basil
Finely chop the garlic and chilies and fry in a little oil. If you don’t like it too spicy, remove the seeds first. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Mix the soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar and add to the meat along with the beans. Continue frying over low heat for about 10 minutes, or until the beans are cooked to your desired tenderness. Serve over rice. Top with a fried egg. The yolk should still be runny.
