Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 cl cachaça
  • 2 tsp, heaped sugar, brown
  • ½ lime(s), untreated
  • 1 handful of crushed ice
  • e.g. lemonade

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

extended Caipirinha

Wash the lime thoroughly, halve it, and cut it into eighths. Place it in a large glass along with the sugar and mash it well with a wooden pestle. Add the cachaça and crushed ice. Top up with lemonade if desired. This softer version lasts longer and doesn’t require tons of ice cubes to make it enjoyable! Plus, the lemonade is so nicely fizzy…
