Pasta bake with tuna

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 1 large can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cans of tuna, in its own juice
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Sugar
  • Pizza seasoning
  • Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Break the macaroni into small pieces (or buy short ones) and cook until al dente. Finely dice the onion and fry in a pan with olive oil. Chop the canned tomatoes (reserve the juice) and add them. Bring to a boil and season to taste. Grease a baking dish and then alternate layers of pasta, tuna, and tomatoes. Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on each layer of tomatoes. Mix the sour cream with 125 ml of the tomato juice, stir in the paprika and 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese, and pour the mixture over the casserole. Bake at 200°C for 30-45 minutes, until the Parmesan is lightly browned.
