Pasta salad with meatballs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g pasta
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 slice(s) of toast
  • marjoram
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 250 g salad cream
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 romaine lettuce
  • 50 g Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cook the pasta. Let cool. Soak the toast in water. Finely dice the onion. Squeeze the bread dry. Knead the toast, minced meat, onion, 1 teaspoon of mustard, egg, and marjoram together. Season with salt and pepper. Form into meatballs. Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs. Remove from the pan and let cool. Chop the bell pepper. Mix the salad cream, milk, and 1 teaspoon of mustard until smooth. Squeeze in the garlic and mix. Season to taste with lemon juice, salt, pepper, and sugar. Mix the prepared ingredients and the sauce. Let stand for about 30 minutes. Trim the romaine lettuce. Tear into pieces and fold in. Season the lettuce to taste and grate the Parmesan over the lettuce.
