Pasta with broccoli sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g broccoli
  • 350 g pasta
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 bowl of herb cream cheese
  • ½ small kohlrabi
  • 1 some peanuts, roasted, unsalted
  • 1 handful of almond flakes
  • 100 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 32 minutes

quick and vegetarian

Cut the broccoli, stem-and-stalk, and kohlrabi into small pieces and place them in a pot with the cream. At the same time, you can cook the pasta in salted water. While the pasta is cooking, bring the broccoli to a boil in the cream with a little water. Cover the pot. However, you should be careful that the cream does not boil over. During this time, finely chop or mince the peanuts and almonds. After about 10 minutes of cooking, the broccoli should be soft enough to be mashed with a masher or hand blender. Now add the peanuts and almonds, the grated cheese, and the cream cheese to the pot and mix everything well. Depending on the desired consistency, you can add a little more water or cream. Season to taste with nutmeg, salt, and pepper and serve with the pasta.
