Pasta with nuts

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g walnuts
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 400 g tomatoes, chopped, from the can
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • 350 g tagliatelle or other pasta
  • 6 tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Pappardelle with nut sauce. An extraordinary taste, but also exceptionally delicious!

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, finely chop the walnuts and roast them in a pan with a little oil until golden brown. Add the tomatoes to the nuts and stir in the butter. Let the sauce reduce slightly and season with sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir the Parmesan cheese into the sauce and serve immediately with the pasta.
